Morning Workshops

As a complement to our general French classes  we offer Workshops to students from level A2  onward. Our Workshops  include more specific objectives such as preparation to DELF/DALF/TCF exams, or to University entrance. Our Professional Workshop is designed to the work-related needs of the participants. Other Workshops immerse students in culture and civilisation such as “Living in Marseille, Literature, Cinema…

These Workshops are included in our programmes according to a pre-determined schedule.

Workshops take place on Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for the 8 h and 20 hour classes and on Fridays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm  for the 14h and 20 hour classes. They can be accessible to those who do not enrol in our general programmes, if availabilities allow.

Descriptive morning workshops

MORNING THEMATIC WORKSHOPS  (Tuesday and /or Friday -11.00 am -1.00 pm)

  • Workshops  A : DELF, DALF and TCF exam preparation (16 hours)

- DELF/DALF Preparation : DELF (Diplôme Elémentaire de Langue Française) - DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française)

Work on tests requirements and preparation to DELF A2, B1, B2 and DALF C1. Improvement of oral and written comprehension and expression. 

- TCF Preparation : TCF (Test de Connaissance en Français)

Work on test requirements and preparation to TCF: oral and written comprehension, understanding the structures of the language and pre-tests.

  • Workshops B : French for specific purposes (16 hours)

Job research (CV, Job announcements, interviews, letters of application…), working in a company (organisation, communication in working environment, integration in professional life…)

  • Workshops  C  : Civilisation  (10 hours)

Provençal Christmas traditions (figurines, pastoral songs, Christmas markets).

Francophonie Week: working on the 2012 theme: "Tell me ten words”.

  • Workshops D  : « Living in Marseille » (8 hours)

Marseilles history, heritage and governance (learn how to fill application forms and deal with administrative paperwork) and discover everyday life in the Southern city.

Provençal traditions and the Marseilles French

  • Workshops E  : French Literature (6 hours)

Study of a book/selected literary texts and short stories.

  • Workshops F  : French University Preparation Program (8 hours)

Introduction to University work requirements: note-taking techniques, speed reading methods, methodology of written work, tutoring. (Levels B2/C1)
