Alliance Française Marseille-Provence
Alliance Française Marseille-Provence was formed in 1889 . It is a Private Higher Education Institution offering French lessons for foreigners. As a member of the international network of Alliances Françaises, our mission is to teach French to foreigners and make the culture of the French-speaking world known by promoting inter-cultural contacts .
Situated in the heart of the city , we welcome more than 700 students of 75 different nationalities every year. Our teachers are Higher Education graduates and are specialised in the teaching of French as a foreign language. In 2007 we were awarded the "French Foreign Language Quality" label .
Alliance Française Marseille is also an accredited examination centre for the DAEFLE and TCF exams, and has been a member of the OFII regional association (Office Français de l’Immigration et de l’Intégration ) since January 2010 .
Our air-conditioned premises comprise five teaching rooms , including two equipped with IWB (Interactive WhiteBoard), a computer room open to our students (high-speed wifi), a lounge area with a library and a resource centre.
To help you plan your stay, we also offer accommodation in host families selected by ourselves as well as an apartment hotel near the school.
