Test de Connaissance du Français.
The TCF was produced by Centre International d'Études Pédagogiques ( CIEP ). It assesses a person’s level of French for general purposes.
In grading candidates at one of the six levels defined by the Council of Europe, the TCF determines whether a person's proficiency in French is adequate for them to enter a French university or a French-speaking work environment .
T.C.F IN MARSEILLE
Descriptive
Alliance Française Marseille Provence is an examination centre for anyone wishing to take this test.
The TCF consists of three multiple-choice questionnaire papers.
Send the following documents to Alliance Française, 310 Rue Paradis 13008 Marseille:
- registration form completed, dated and signed
- two stamped envelopes with your name and address
- payment (French cheques only)
For your registration to be valid, all your documents must be received at least 4 weeks before the date of the test . We will send you a notice to attend approximately 7days before the date of the test. The results will be sent to you by post one month later .

Prices:
- Compulsory test 80 Euros
- Optional oral test 50 Euros
- Optional written test 40 Euros
On the day of the test you must bring photo ID , the notice to attend which you have already received, and a black ballpoint pen .
Candidates who arrive late will not be allowed to enter the examination room.
